Glock 19 Holsters

Custom Kydex Glock 19 Holsters

The 19 is the pistol every other carry gun gets measured against, and it is the one most often handed a shell that was pressed for something close enough. Ours is not. Tell us the generation and we cut a mold for that frame.

We press separate patterns for the Gen 4, Gen 5 and Gen 6, in IWB, OWB and sidecar builds, with 53 weapon-light options and clearance for a slide-mounted dot. Handmade to order by a veteran-owned shop in Middle Tennessee.

Which Glock 19 Do You Own?

Glock has revised the 19 three times since the Gen 4, and each revision moved something a holster touches — the frame nose, the magwell flare, the slide profile. We keep a separate pattern per generation instead of pressing one shape and hoping the tolerance covers it.

Your Glock 19What changedOrder this

Not sure which one is in your safe? The Gen 5 and Gen 6 have no finger grooves and a slide stop on both sides; a Gen 3 or Gen 4 has grooves. Send us a photo if it is still unclear and we will identify it for you.

Cross-Fit

What Else Fits a Glock 19 Holster?

Several Glocks share the 19 frame and slide envelope, and a few only look like they do. Here is the honest version, including the ones we will tell you not to buy.

FirearmShares this shell?What to order
Glock 23 (.40 S&W)YesSame frame and slide envelope, different chambering. Pick the Glock 23 entry so we match your generation.
Glock 32 (.357 SIG)YesDimensionally the same pistol. It has no separate line in the configurator, so choose Glock 19 and leave us a note.
Glock 19X or Glock 45Ask usA 19-length slide over a full-size frame. We tool it on its own pattern, listed as Glock 19X/45.
Glock 47NoFull-size slide. It runs past the end of a 19 shell and carries its own entry.
Glock 17 or Glock 22NoLonger slide again. The muzzle would sit unsupported outside the shell.
Glock 26NoShorter slide, so the pistol sinks past the retention point and never clicks in.

The rule underneath all of that: our shells index on the slide and the trigger guard. Change either one and you have changed the holster, whatever the caliber stamped on the barrel says.

Carry Style

How to Carry a Glock 19

A 19 is big enough that position does most of the concealment work for you. These are the four builds our 19 customers order most.

Glock 19 IWB

Appendix or strong side. With a claw and a wedge the 19 tucks flat enough to vanish under a t-shirt.

Glock 19 OWB

Faster to reach and far kinder to your back if you drive or sit at a desk all day.

Glock 19 Sidecar

Pistol and a 15-round spare on one platform, balanced across your appendix carry line.

Glock 19 Mag Carriers

A dedicated carrier for the 15-round magazine, molded to the same tolerance as the holster.
Lights & Optics

Weapon Lights That Fit a Glock 19

Coyote Kydex Glock 19 IWB holster pressed around a Streamlight TLR-1 weapon light

This is the 19 advantage. It wears the standard Glock accessory rail, so the full-size light bodies bolt straight on — none of the sub-compact compromises a slimline forces on you. What matters is that we press the pistol and the light together as one object, so the bezel is supported and the draw stays clean.

Red dots. The sight channel on our 19 shells is cut to clear a slide-mounted optic, so an MOS gun holsters without the dot fouling the mouth. If you have also gone to suppressor-height irons, flag it when you order — taller front sights want a deeper channel and we would rather cut it right than have you send it back.

Our Three Best Glock 19 Setups

All three take every Glock 19 generation. Set the model, hand, light and clip on the product page and we do the rest.

Triton 2.0 IWB Holster

$60

The one most 19 owners should start with. Two adjustable clips spread the load a full-size compact puts on a belt, and it rides high enough to clear a seat belt.

Hades Series IWB Sidecar

$90

Appendix rig that carries the pistol and a spare 15-rounder on one chassis. The magazine sits flat against your body instead of fighting the holster for space.

Chronos Series OWB Paddle

$60

Paddle mount, so it comes on and off without unthreading your belt. This is the range and truck-gun answer for a 19 you do not want riding inside your waistband all day.

Glock 19 or Glock 43X?

These two account for most of the carry holsters leaving our shop, and buyers cross-shop them constantly. The numbers that decide it are width and rail, not capacity.

Take the 19 if you want five more rounds, a longer sight radius and any weapon light on the market. Take the 43X if the thing you keep noticing is the gun pressing into your side — see our Glock 43X holster page for that build. Plenty of our customers own both and rotate by season.

Why Neptune

Pressed for the 19, Not for a Family of Guns

Because the 19 is the best-selling handgun in the country, it is also the platform with the most shells sold as universal. A pattern cut for one specific pistol behaves differently in three ways that matter once you carry it every day:

We are a small veteran-owned shop that moved from Tampa to Middle Tennessee and still presses every shell to order. Read our story, or step back up to every Glock we build for.

FAQ

Glock 19 Holster Questions

There is no size chart to work through — a Kydex holster is pressed around one pistol, so a Glock 19 holster is a Glock 19 holster. What you do have to specify is the generation, because the Gen 4, Gen 5 and Gen 6 are separate patterns for us. Guns that share the 19 envelope, such as the Glock 23 and Glock 32, use the same shell shape but have their own entries in the configurator.
Appendix hides a 19 better than any other position, provided you use a claw to rotate the grip into your body and a wedge to tip the muzzle out. Strong-side hip is more comfortable if you are heavier through the middle or spend the day getting in and out of a vehicle, and it hides fine under a jacket. If you drive for a living, try outside the waistband before you write it off.
Not a different pattern, no. Our Glock 19 shells are cut with a sight channel deep enough to clear a slide-mounted optic, so an MOS gun goes in without the dot catching the mouth of the holster. The exception is suppressor-height iron sights, which sit taller than the dot itself — tell us at the time of order and we will open the channel to suit.
Yes, and it is one of our most-ordered builds. A light-bearing shell is pressed around the pistol and the TLR-1 as a single shape, so the light body carries the retention instead of the trigger guard alone. Expect it to sit slightly lower and print a little more at the muzzle; a light-bearing mod wing offsets most of that. The same applies to the X300U and the Modlite PL350.
It will. The Gen 3 is not a separate line in our configurator because the slide and trigger-guard geometry our shell grips carried over unchanged into the Gen 4 — the differences are the finger grooves, the magazine release and the backstraps, none of which the Kydex touches. Select Glock 19 Gen 4 and note that yours is a Gen 3 if you want us to double-check before pressing.
Close, but we do not treat them as interchangeable. The 19X and Glock 45 pair a 19-length slide with a full-size frame, so while the slide sits the same in the shell, the frame line where the holster meets the gun is different. We tool them as their own pattern, listed as Glock 19X/45 in the model selector.
Glock 19 builds run from $50 for the original Triton IWB up to $130 for the Zeus Level 2 duty rig. The three we recommend for the 19 land at $60 for the Triton 2.0 IWB, $60 for the Chronos OWB paddle and $90 for the Hades sidecar, which includes the spare magazine carrier. Adding a weapon light does not change the price of the shell.
Ten to fourteen business days is the standard window, because nothing ships from stock — your shell is cut, heated and pressed once the order reaches the bench. The exception is a pattern we have not cut before: new molds take extra time to build, fit and test, so they fall outside that estimate. If that is longer than you can wait, our Quick Ship listings cover the most common Glock 19 configurations and go out considerably faster.
