Proteus Series minimalist style holster. New slimmer design cuts down on extra bulk. This holster includes a Mod Wing to help minimize printing by pressing the butt of the weapon close to the body. Also includes a Grip Hook for inside the waistband wear. This holster comes in your choice of various color options and many models. LIGHTS/LASERS: If you would like to add a light and/or laser bearing to your holster it is an additional $15 charge. Just select the model you would like from the drop down menu, and the price will adjust automatically.
*If adding a light/laser bearing to this model holster, the clip will be moved to the center of the holster instead of the side over the trigger guard due to the positioning of the light/laser*

I conceal carry a full size FN 5.7 with this holster, and it is great. I’m not a big guy, and I don’t wear any sort of baggy clothing, and this holster doesn’t print at all, walking around, even with the full size pistol. It’s extremely comfy, and that RCS claw makes a huge difference in the feel. I can ride around in my car or sit in the movies for hours and you’d never know you have a full size, 8″ overall length weapon. Not too mention, the customer service is awesome. They respond to my messages every time, and quickly.
Clearwater Tactical definitely has my business in the future.

This is an awesome holster! Looks and feels top notch! The claw gives the edge in concealment to those with a little bit of some extra weight. Only qualm I have about this product was that the retention was way too tight! When I first put in the pistol I was fighting with it to keep the slide from sliding back and was fighting with the holster to take the pistol back. Easy fix though! Just add two more rubber spacers and adjust the retention and you should be good to go!

NC made me one of these babies for my HK P30. I also had them fit it to accommodate a Surefire XC1 flashlight. It fits perfectly, and wears very comfortably, highly recommend!

This is the second Proteus I have bought. First one for my CZ P-07 and this one for my HK USP9 Compact. This is by far the BEST holster I have owned and I have owned a lot from different companies. Quality is top notch. Definitely a customer for life and my go to holster company.

I owe Neptune Concealment an apology, I completely forgot to leave reviews for my purchases. As you read this review, understand that I have purchased THREE of these holsters for three different guns, all of which were custom orders accommodating manual safeties, lights, optic cuts, etc. These holsters are fantastic. Very strong construction, adjustable tension, made in the the USA by some of our beloved Veterans.
I like to pocket carry with mine. It clips nicely to the outside of my pocket, and looks subtle enough that people don’t seem to notice. The hooks on the holster do a great job of disguising the print of the pistol in my pocket.
Stop searching and buy this holster. I will only use Neptune, and I’ve gotten my friends on board as well.
Side note, the logo is bad*ss and I love the wristbands.

Excellent holster! My only complaint is that the clip that comes on this holster is narrow and being the only clip on the holster it tended to have a bit of free play in the cant of the holster. I ordered a TAC clip as a replacement clip and it made a world of difference in how secure the holster feels on my belt. A TAC clip on this holster as standard would be a nice improvement.

My proteus holster arrived yesterday, and I am very happy with it. I have a bit of an uncommon combo — 509 Tactical, Streamlight TLR-7, and Trijicon RMR. Not easy to find holsters for that configuration. Not only is the holster beautiful, it’s got great quality and craftsmanship. It’s fairly minimalist for a light-bearing holster, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
Overall, couldn’t recommend more!
